The heat aside, June was really good to me! I saw some dreams turn into a reality, enjoyed some great family time, and found myself some nostalgia-filled days.

Read MoreI absolutely adore Valentine’s Day! I love the silly cards, all the hearts, and — of course — the pink and red, so I thought it would be fun to host a little V-Day dinner to celebrate my friends and loved ones!
Read MoreIt’s the first month of a new year, and honestly, it’s been off to a pretty strong start! I’ve been getting back into the flow of creating again, as well as streaming and recording for the pod. I’m excited about what’s ahead, but first, I’ll share some highlights from this month!
Read MoreIt’s the start of a new year! But before we move ahead, it’s time for another recap. A roundup of my December favorites!
Read MoreOK, I know starting anything can be intimidating, but if streaming is one of those things you’re hoping to do in 2024, this is your sign to go for it! Cooper and I really love it and have found a great community of people who really encourage us to be ourselves and do what we love. But if you’re not sure where to begin, this blog is for you.
Read MoreIt’s the start of a new series here on the blog where I’ll recap some highlights from each month!
Read MoreIt’s taken me a second to sit down and write this. In fact, it’s been a couple of months since I celebrated turning 30! I celebrated all weekend long with multiple themed days including an RIP to my 20’s dinner, 13 going on 30 movie night, and a Dirty 30 Drag Brunch. I don’t feel wiser or significantly older, but there have been some changes. So let’s get personal, and I’ll share what my thoughts are about entering this next chapter and how I felt about my 20’s.
Read MoreWhen I was a kid, I always felt a little sad as the summer came to a close and the beginning of the school year started approaching. But one thing that would always make me excited for a new school year was back-to-school shopping!
Read MoreI recently took a two-week trip to Europe with my family, and it was absolutely incredible. Seeing the sights, exploring with the people I love, and eating delicious food was truly amazing. But before I even get where I’m going, I’m a pretty diligent packer these days after doing a lot of traveling in my late teens and early 20s for tours and music events…

Read MorePlaying video games has been a part of my life since I was very young. I would plug in two controllers to our N64, boot up Mario Kart, and tell my younger sister to “pay attention to Yoshi, that’s who you are” knowing very well that it was a CPU player she was watching (oops. sorry to all the younger siblings this happened to). I guess you could say I took it seriously even at age 9.
Read MoreOver the years, I’ve taken on some pretty ambitious New Year’s Resolutions. There’s nothing wrong with that, but they can be tough to maintain. I do love the reset that a new year can bring, but as we move through the beginning of 2023, I’ve tried to be a little more intentional with setting realistic and practical ways for me to take care of myself on a daily basis.
Read MoreThere are a lot of feelings that fly around as one year ends and a new one begins. For me, I feel mostly excited when each chapter closes because there’s something I love about “a fresh start.” At the same time, it can bring some gloominess when I think about the things I didn’t do but hoped to.
Read MoreA Q&A with Megan all about the making of her new album “Christmas Morning”. We discuss what the process was like, why she wanted to make this album, and what inspired her while making the album…
Read MoreOur second year of marriage we hosted our first ever Thanksgiving. The food responsibilities were spread out, but I decided I would be the one to make the Key Lime Pie because the truth is: I needed to redeem myself. Many Thanksgivings prior, I had ruined the pie, and it never set for some reason. So I was determined to make it up.
Read MoreWithout even realizing, my makeup routine tends to shift every couple of years. I’ll look back on photos of when I preferred a heavy dark liner on my water line or times when I wore bright purple lipstick. There were even times when I drew my eyebrows in nice and dark and other times where I didn’t even know brow products existed.
Read MoreIn my early 20s, I used to hate when people thought I was younger than I was. No joke, airport security once said I could keep my shoes on since I was a kid. They literally thought I was a child, and I was probably 21 at the time. My height and lack of makeup probably contributed, but I wasn’t going to correct the assumption if it meant I didn’t have to shuffle on the airport tile in my socks waiting for my shoes on the other side of the conveyor.
