FEBRUARY RECAP đź©·
The shortest month of the year has quickly wrapped up! I love February. It’s filled with celebrations of all kinds: love, birthdays, and anniversaries! Here are some of my highlights from the month!
Home on the range
I visited my in-laws, which means time with all sorts of animals. They live on a ranch with horses, goats, pigs, alpacas, donkeys, cows, and more! I got to feed a sweet little highland cow named Butter, and my day was made. He wasn’t comfy enough to let anyone pet him, but I understand wanting personal space so I was just happy to get as close as I did!
Streamiversary
This month, Cooper and I celebrated 5 years of streaming on Twitch! Kind of wild. We celebrated with a 6 hour stream where we let the game of Marbles decide what we would do. The stream included You Laugh, You Lose, wearing each other’s wardrobe, puppets, and singing songs written by AI (topic and genre chosen by chat). It was chaos in the best way, and we felt all the love and support that day!
Disneyland After Dark
We kicked of birthday celebrations for my sister’s (and The Fuzzy Pod cohost) birthday at Disneyland this month! It was my first time ever attending a Disneyland After Dark event, and Sweethearts Nite was a great intro! Pop love songs played throughout the park while characters walked around as couples. Specialty food and drinks were available for the event, and there were corners where a live jazz band would be performing. It was so much fun, and you know I dressed for the occasion in a pink dress with red hearts and red tights. The only downfall? The down pour of rain we thought we wouldn’t see more of that night! So ponchos were purchased and we didn’t get to go on some rides, but it was still a great night.
Valentine’s Dinner
I hosted a little Valentine’s-themed dinner with friends and fam, and you know I love a good theme. I also love getting to celebrate friendship over a good meal, and Cooper delivered with the homemade meatballs and spaghetti he made that night. I also made some other treats I talked about in my last Megan Learns to Cook. It makes me happy to create a table scape, and I want to continue to get better at it!
