There are a lot of feelings that fly around as one year ends and a new one begins. For me, I feel mostly excited when each chapter closes because there’s something I love about “a fresh start.” At the same time, it can bring some gloominess when I think about the things I didn’t do but hoped to.

I thought about all the things I didn’t do but wanted to, like travel more with Cooper and release a ton of music. And I still didn’t learn Spanish or even finish reading all the books on my shelf. Overall, my feelings towards 2021 were initially not super positive.
Read MoreAs we come to the end of another year it’s about that time where I like to take that quiet moment to dream and write out all the things I would love to see happen. After the curveball that was 2020, it can be slightly discouraging to put together another list of big dreams that might not be possible (like a trip to Japan). But I’m realizing how important it is for me to continue to not only be hopeful, but to also not be discouraged from writing out my goals because so many of them could be accomplished!
