Without even realizing, my makeup routine tends to shift every couple of years. I’ll look back on photos of when I preferred a heavy dark liner on my water line or times when I wore bright purple lipstick. There were even times when I drew my eyebrows in nice and dark and other times where I didn’t even know brow products existed.
Read MoreA lot of my favorite memories growing up revolved around food: the aroma of my mom’s homemade chocolate chip cookies warming the kitchen, my grandma showing us how to roll out the perfect tortilla, and my dad giving me the responsibility of being the “taste-tester” of the first fajita off the grill.
Read MoreHalloween is coming up fast, and I am beyond excited. I love summer, but the last few months of the year bring me so much joy. The weather cools down, chunky sweaters come out, the festivities begin, etc. Since the season is officially beginning, I’m thinking about decorating for Halloween in the coming days, and here are some of my favorite finds to welcome in the holiday.
Read MoreIn my early 20s, I used to hate when people thought I was younger than I was. No joke, airport security once said I could keep my shoes on since I was a kid. They literally thought I was a child, and I was probably 21 at the time. My height and lack of makeup probably contributed, but I wasn’t going to correct the assumption if it meant I didn’t have to shuffle on the airport tile in my socks waiting for my shoes on the other side of the conveyor.
Read MoreSummer can often mean we’re out in the sunshine enjoying the outdoors day after day, but taking care of your skin during that time can be tough. Sometimes the heat dries out my skin, or the sun exposure can cause damage. This summer, I’ve tried to be proactive about maintaining a routine that would combat those things and actively hydrate my skin.
Read MoreAs summer comes to a close, I’ve been trying to evaluate my closet and my recent shopping choices to see which pieces will transition well to fall. I really do love skirts and dresses, and I always want to find ways to make them as fall friendly as I can!
Read MoreIf you’re sitting poolside or having an evening with friends around a fire, it’s always nice to have a tasty drink in hand. When I was a kid, I lived for a virgin strawberry daiquiri or a shirley temple on a family vacation. The joy of a beautiful and yummy drink is something I still enjoy. I gathered some of my favorite finds to share with you here!
Read MoreEven though I don’t take off the whole summer like I did as a kid, I still love to fill my summer with fun activities and new experiences. You already know I’m going to be spending as much time as I can playing pickleball, but I added some other items to my summer to-do list.
Read MoreI think it’s safe to say we are officially out of the newlywed phase and halfway to an “old married couple”. I always hated the comments from onlookers early on in marriage of “just wait, it will wear off soon” or “you’ll see one day, you’ll like each other less.” Sure, there are ups and downs, but I chose a partner that I can move through the ebbs and flows of life with. In tune with last year’s posts, here are five things that I’ve learned in five years of marriage. (P.S. Happy anniversary, Cooper!)
Read MoreI don’t think I ever read for enjoyment until I was 20. Before then, I’d fall asleep trying to get through required school books until I finally just looked up the spark notes version. My love for reading was rekindled in the last year and part of that was wanting to make it a part of my nightly routine. I thought I’d share my summer reading wish list with you.

This week on the blog, we wanted to focus on not only easy DIYs but also ways to refresh items you may already have!
Read MoreSummer has been on my mind a lot lately. Even though this time of year brings the heat, it also brings memories of warm nights sharing a drink with friends, cool dips in the pool and lots of time throwing around a ball outside with the dogs.
Read MoreMother’s Day is right around the corner on Sunday, May 8, and I know how hard it can be to find the perfect gift for those people in your life that you care so deeply about. While a gift will never be able to express the full gratitude we have for the mothers in our lives, this is a day where we can show some of that appreciation and make them feel special and loved!
Read MoreToday is Earth Day! I feel like I need to say that every day is Earth Day given that this is the planet that provides for and houses us, but today we can really dig deep into celebrating, protecting and appreciating Earth.
Read MoreNow that the weather is actually warm, I’m trying to get more out of my closet and really test the versatility of a few different pieces. One of my favorites recently is a slip skirt. It’s super comfortable, flattering and you can dress it up or down!
Read MoreI am so glad spring is finally here because I can do even more of one of my favorite things… High Tea! This is a longstanding tradition between my mom and my sister and I, and I have the best memories associated with having tea with these two beautiful women in my life.
Read MoreAs some of you know, I just finished a tour with Jeremy Shada, and if you were following along on Instagram, you know that it was a blast! He is such a talented individual and a great friend, so hitting a few cities and opening up for him was a dream.
Read MoreThis year marks some big anniversaries for my husband Cooper and I. In July, we will be 5 years married…but this month will be 5 years since I sat on a park bench and said the biggest “yes” of my life. Sounds dramatic when I put it that way, but besides being surround by more friends and family and the legality and pageantry of a wedding, getting engaged is still saying “I choose you.”
Read MoreIf I had to pin down a name for my current style, I’m not sure it’s as defined right now. I feel like I’m in a season of experimenting, but a few things always stay true: my love for the color pink and balance of cute/comfy. Here’s a look at some of my OOTD featuring some pieces I talk about in this blog post.
Read MoreI know the blog has been inundated with a lot of fashion and lifestyle content recently because, let’s be honest, I love it! But another huge love of mine is music, and it has been for all of my life. In 2021, I created a Songwriting Guide because I wanted to begin sharing some of what I have learned in my time as an artist in the music industry.
