FAVORITE FALL LOOKS
It is really starting to feel like fall around here, so I’ve been pulling out some of my clothes for the season. My style changes a bit every year, so this year, I’ve been taking a look at some new pieces to recreate my favorite fall looks right now. I’m all about function and fun, so I try my best to have both components in every piece I own. Here’s a peek into my favorite fall looks at the moment with a variety of style options. It’s finally time to dive into fall fashion!
Bold Pants
Fall is a great time to experiment with newer and more bold pieces because you’re going to need to layer to stay warm. Pants are a great place to start since they are usually more visible than your cute sweaters or tops, which can get covered up with a jacket and a scarf in the cold weather. Here are a few funky pant options that I have been loving lately. Whether you decide to go all in and rock all the patterns or make your pants your statement piece, you can make fall fashion fun, freeing and unique to you!
cozy layer
Jackets and coats are a necessity in the fall, so it helps to have a cute one that is both cozy and one that you love to wear. October isn’t usually too cold, especially here in TN, so I can get away with a lighter jacket that is more fashion than function. However, if you’re living in a colder climate, check out some of the more sturdy and warm options below. You jacket is your outermost layer, so make sure to have fun with it, and pick something that keeps you toasty and makes you feel confident.
boots
You gotta love a good pair of boots in the fall. Platform boots are all over and seem to be really popular right now, but I still love a good pair of chic and classic boots with a thinner heel. Although, platform tend to me more comfy and really are boots made for walking. We’ve got a good mix below. Again, if you’re in a colder climate, the taller the boot, the warmer they’ll be for your legs. But, a sturdy pair of ankle boots can be just what you need as well, and it’s all about what you feel best in! Shoes are a great way to pull together an outfit, and it’s another piece of your outfit that will always be visible, so show off your style!
hats
I love hats because they can be an awesome accessory year round. Corduroy is definitely a fun fall fabric, so I included some corduroy options in the mix. I also feel like Mariner’s Caps (aka the fiddler cap, fisherman cap, baker boy…I’ve seen many names/variations) always compliment a fall fit, and they look cute on anyone and everyone! Of course, I had to include a bucket hat, which even after wearing all summer I’m still not tired of. Lastly, you can never go wrong with a classic rancher hat, and I love how vibrant the Free People one is. Whether you choose a beanie, a cap or a rancher hat, just remember that your style is about YOU. Play with the pieces that make you feel comfortable and excited about putting together a fall outfit.
