27 AT 27
twenty-seven
Wasn’t I just that 16 year old eager girl uploading her first Youtube video? To be honest, I’ve been telling myself I’m “old” for too long. But I’ve started to find a real peace lately with my age. For starters, I’m still in my 20’s so I need to chill out on the “old” thing. Especially when so many of my friends are thriving in their 30’s! Plus, for so long I had this imaginary age in my head of when I would be able to pursue my passions of music and acting and um, that window hasn’t closed, not unless I’m the one shutting it.
Looking ahead at this next year of life, I’m excited for the possibilities a new chapter brings. With everything going on in the world (just a little global pandemic), I’ve been feeling myself dream more than ever. It’s funny, dream was my word for 2020. I have to say it’s fitting in all the ways I didn’t know it would be. As I’ve dreamed and schemed I thought it would be fun to make a little list for myself. Twenty-seven things I want to do at twenty-seven. Some big, some small. Some more in my control and others, well, we’re gonna need to wait and see, but for now I’ll dream.
