VALENTINE'S DAY ITEMS YOU'LL FALL IN LOVE WITH
I’m sure you could guess this about me (if I haven’t already said it in previous posts), but I LOVE Valentine’s Day. I know it’s a Hallmark holiday, and I used to feel some level of pressure to make the day as romantic as possible. But these days, I like to celebrate in a more well-rounded way, prioritizing all the levels of love in my life. Whether that’s a romantic relationship, friendships you’ve fostered over the years, or family members that live near and far, Valentine’s Day can be a day to fit your unique relationships. No pressure necessary! And if you don’t like to celebrate, but love the joy red and pink decor brings, that’s also completely acceptable. It’s no secret that I love that color combo, especially if you watched my music videos for my recent EP, Christmas Morning!
That being said, here are a few Valentine’s Day items to bring that spirit of love into your everyday life and spread that romantic and dreamy aesthetic right through your home. The best part is that you can use these year-round!
Home Decor for the Heart
Here are some of my favorite picks to spice up my home with that lovey-dovey vibe this February. Some of these are more funky than others. You may want an accent pillow to bring a little romance to your couch, or you may want to go all out with a Valentine’s-inspired tablescape, complete with those red candlesticks, pink glasses, and themed napkins. I also love those white candles if you’re looking for something subtle, but quirky and fun for Valentine’s Day!
Fashion to Fall For
You all know I am a sucker for anything cute, bright-colored, and eye-catching! There’s something about the combination of red and pink as well that seems to be really striking, so I would let pieces such as these be the main event. That pinkish dress is a stunning option for a Valentine’s Day date night or Gals Night Out, but I think that fake cake handbag might have my whole heart. If you’re planning on staying in but still want to get in the spirit, those slippers with the pink puff are everything. And paired with that heart-themed pajama set? There’s just no topping that.
