MY CURRENT MAKEUP ROUTINE

Without even realizing, my makeup routine tends to shift every couple of years. I’ll look back on photos of when I preferred a heavy dark liner on my water line or times when I wore bright purple lipstick. There were even times when I drew my eyebrows in nice and dark and other times where I didn’t even know brow products existed. With how much my own personal routine has tended to shift, I thought I would share what my current and easy makeup routine looks like and my favorite items of the moment. I’m definitely in a season of lighter on the eyes and more neutral lip tones, but I feel another slight shift happening as I gravitate towards deep wine red lips.

FACE

I’ve been keeping it pretty simple lately! I start with a primer, and then I move on to my foundation to create a good base. From there, I use concealer under the eyes and add to any areas where I want a little extra coverage. Then I’ve been using a cream base for my bronzer and blush! I love the way they blend. I haven’t been using highlighter lately, but the bronzer still gives a nice glow.

EYES

I've probably simplified this area the most! I love a simple light shimmer on the eye, and the Illia Liquid Powder Eyeshadow makes it so easy! I’ve been into brown liquid liner and will still do a slight wing. Then I curl and add a little mascara to my top and bottom lashes. Sometimes I’ll add a bone colored liner to brighten my eyes a little on the waterline, but lately, I’ve been skipping that step too. This is where the “easy” part comes in for my easy makeup routine. I’m a fan of simplicity right now!

LIPS

The way I am obsessed with this 3 dollar lipgloss from E.L.F…. The Mauve Glitz might be my favorite. If i’m not in the mood for a bolder lip, a lip liner with gloss is my go-to!

BROWS

I feel lost with my brows right now. Sometimes I want a bolder look, and other times I just want to brush them up and only fill in the spots I feel need it. But one thing I do know is I love a good gel. The Kosas gel is great for a lighter hold, but ooh the Benefit brow gel is great for a stronger hold. Just make sure you get them to where you like them because your brows will stay put!

extras

Primers, brushes, setting sprays. I even included one of my favorite new perfumes for fall. I know it’s not makeup, but it makes me feel all put together with that little extra spritz. So there ya go! My current, simple, and easy makeup routine just for you, and I hope you add your own special touch if you try it out!
